Teaching with Tech: Confidence building CPD

I am delighted to be presenting at Optimus Education’s conference, “Delivering Engaging Computing in the Primary Classroom” on Thursday 25 June 2015.

Other speakers on the day include Miles Berry, Phil Bagge and Michelle Brayford.

My session, from 3.50-4.35pm, will focus on how senior leaders, Computing Coordinators and other teachers can embed a culture of confidence building CPD to ensure all members of staff understand how to maximise the potential of technology for learning in their classrooms.

The workshop will focus on how to execute a clear vision for getting the best out of technology, by exploring how to get the best out of yourself and other colleagues.

Focusing on the best ways to build skills and resources through systematic action planning along with providing real incentives to teachers and support staff alike.

It will be full of practical ideas that will help you to get those long-forgotten devices out of the cupboard and into the hands of learners.

And the even better news is… you can now receive a £30 discount on bookings for the whole day event, which includes my session and a whole host of other excellent presentations. Just quote the code ‘CM01’ when booking on the Optimus Education website here.
