Video: Can I be your friend?

Last week, whilst trawling mindlessly through my Twitter timeline, I came across a tweet from Claire Lotriet that included a link to the video ‘Can I be your friend?’ – a video made by creative content agency and viral video experts Don’t Panic to promote the English National Opera’s 2011 production of ‘Two Boys’ – a cautionary tale of the dark side of the internet.

Having just watched the viral video I think it could prove to be a really great resource to share with teachers and students alike. It very clearly demonstrates just how strange some online behaviours can be, with particular respect to posting on social networking sites such as Facebook. I really wish I’d seen the opera when it was in London!

If nothing else the viral is definitely worth a watch:

How could you use this video in your school or organisation?
